5 Quotes to Encourage You This Week

Children’s ministry can be the most incredible and rewarding way to serve in God’s Kingdom. Think about it. We get to tell kiddos about who God is and what He has done. We get to invite them into a relationship with Him. But, let’s be honest, children’s ministry can be exhausting. It’s so easy to lose sight of why we do what we do. It’s so easy to become discouraged.

Here are five quotes to remind you that what you do matters.

If one hits home, write it on a Post It note or use Canva to make it the background of your computer or phone. Do whatever it takes to make it front and center to your day.

“If I could relive my life, I would devote my entire ministry to reaching children for God.” (Dwight L. Moody)

It's easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. (Frederick Douglas)

“We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today.” (Stacia Tauscher)

“Every child you encounter is a divine appointment.” (Wess Stafford)

"The greatest legacy one can pass on to one's children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one's life, but rather a legacy of character and faith." (Billy Graham)

I hope these quotes remind you that what you do matters. It has eternal significance. Don’t ever forget that you are doing meaningful and significant work.
